About My Practice

I specialize in providing counselling and psychotherapy to individuals (ages 18+) navigating life stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). My work focuses on helping clients better understand their emotional experiences, build effective coping strategies, and restore a sense of balance and stability in their lives.

Areas of Specialization

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from a variety of different approaches, including: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), skills from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), as well as somatic-based practices. I also use a Polyvagal-informed lens to help individuals understand how stress and trauma impact the nervous system and the body, supporting greater awareness, regulation, and self-compassion. I tailor these evidence-based modalities to each individual’s unique needs, with a focus on nervous system regulation, trauma processing, and meaningful, lasting change.

Therapeutic Modalities

You’re welcome to choose the setting that feels best for you. I offer virtual sessions so you can connect from the comfort and privacy of your own home, as well as in-person appointments in my comfortable and private office space. All sessions are 50 minutes in duration.

Service Delivery

Fees for Sessions

The cost of a session is $180. Many insurance providers offer coverage for services delivered by Registered Social Workers; however, I do not offer direct billing at this time. Payment is made directly after each session, and it is the responsibility of each individual to confirm their coverage with their insurance provider.

What to Expect

Ongoing psychotherapy provides a consistent, supportive space to work through challenges, build coping skills, and make meaningful progress toward your goals. The structure and frequency of sessions are tailored to your unique needs. We’ll regularly assess your progress and adjust the approach as needed. (Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes).

03. Ongoing Sessions

We’ll spend more time exploring what’s bringing you in, discuss your history and current concerns, and begin identifying your goals for therapy. We’ll continue to use this session to ensure you feel comfortable, supported, and confident that we’re the right match for one another. (Initial sessions are 50 minutes).

01. Preliminary Consultation

We schedule a free 15-minute consultation to briefly discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and determine whether we’re a good fit to work together. This is a no-pressure opportunity to explore next steps and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward.
